Using scientific methods, modify ordinary materials into special products. As soon as the Spring Festival holiday ended, Zhejiang Kepute New Material Co., Ltd. located in the eastern industrial park, resumed work and production early. Currently, all 16 production lines are operating at full capacity, and workers are working hard to produce and rush orders. Customers also come to visit and inspect the company from time to time.
"Most of them are new orders after the Spring Festival, with over 1000 tons to be completed at the beginning of the year." Chairman Wang Chunwei said that by the end of 2024, combined with the laws of the automotive materials industry and the company's development plan for this year, the monthly sales volume will reach over 2000 tons.
Kepu Te was established in 2014 and is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, production, and sales of modified plastic particles for automobiles. In the Kepu production workshop, there are only a few people in the vast workshop. From feeding to packaging, the entire process is completed, and workers only need to occasionally work on the machines. The production line has basically been automated. The R&D line is different from the production line. The company has a research and development team of nearly 30 people. In addition to internal talent cultivation, it actively connects with various material research institutes and universities to meet customer customization needs.
It is understood that due to the dependence of over 50% of automotive materials on imports, as well as the long process of industry certification and research and development, there is a clear demand for "import substitution" in the current materials industry. Seeking low-cost and high-performance products has always been a focus of innovation and breakthrough for various enterprises.
Wang Chunwei grabbed a handful of finished new material particles and introduced that the company's development in the past few years mainly focused on TPV, PVC and other elastomers, and cooperated with the glass accessory industry. In recent years, there has been a shift towards the research and development of engineering plastics with high gloss and no paint products, which are mostly used for automotive interior and exterior decoration. This type of material has excellent weather resistance, environmental protection, wear resistance, and bacterial pollution prevention. Currently, two-thirds of orders are concentrated here.
"In 2024, it is expected to achieve sales of 350 million, sprinting to 450 million. It will increase by 50%, or even double." Speaking of 2024, Wang Chunwei is confident. He said that in addition to steadily advancing in the automotive new materials industry, they will also take the initiative to expand overseas markets and plan to set up marketing points in Thailand and Mexico during the New Year. In addition, the company's factory will be renovated to prepare for entering industries with higher material requirements such as healthcare.
